Because some of our relatives have older computers, I cannot place very many pictures in a single web page. Thus, only the links to the pictures along with the captions are on this page. Likewise, many of the pictures have a smaller version that is designed to download much faster than the larger versions.

(Our camera decided to put the date on some of the pictures. That date is, of course, incorrect, and there is no way to remove it from the picture.)

Israel 7: [ small ] [ large ] The reconstruction for the Bethlehem 2000 project. Many of the streets are being repaved, buildings fixed up, etc., sponsored by many different countries through the United Nations. On a different note, Bethlehem has been turned over to Palestinian rule.

Israel 8: [ small ] [ large ] John, Ron, and Matt on the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Through the haze, one can see the country of Jordan on the other side.
